Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a forklift operator to support store operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll load and unload merchandise, prepare pallets, stock shelves, and assist Members with locating items while maintaining safety standards.

This on-site role requires basic training completion and a willingness to work in a busy retail setting. Weekly responsibilities include strong teamwork and a focus on customer service while supporting delivery and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and receive incoming merchandise; prepare pallets and wrap as needed.
• Transport goods around the club using a pallet jack when required.
• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and food items.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized; perform general maintenance tasks.
• Greet Members and provide prompt, courteous service; assist in locating items.
