Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our yard and distribution operations in Jackson, Mississippi. You will operate forklifts per safety policies to move, load and unload pallets and materials, ensuring accuracy and on-time loading for customers.

Key responsibilities include positioning lifting devices, transporting materials, stacking, maintaining a clean yard, and working with minimal supervision while meeting customer loading schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
