Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a forklift operator to safely operate forklifts and move materials within our manufacturing and distribution setting. You will load customers as scheduled, transport items to designated areas, and maintain a clean, safe yard environment in alignment with company safety policies.

Requirements include at least 2 years of forklift experience and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials.
• Transport materials to designated area.
• Unload and stack materials.
• Inventory materials on yard.
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision to ensure customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay.
