Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in Tampa, FL, is seeking a forklift operator to join our shipping team. You will operate a forklift and wrapping equipment, keep materials organized, and document unloading and movement of goods in a fast-paced warehouse.

We offer starting pay of $22.38 per hour plus annual bonus based on plant performance, paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive benefits. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months’ forklift experience.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PCA forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Assist with production pull, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Support other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and keep warehouses organized.
• Follow safety rules and report any damaged parts or safety concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
