Job summary

Nevada Pic A Part is seeking a safety-minded Forklift Operator to support our operations team in moving vehicles and parts safely and efficiently throughout the yard. If you enjoy working outdoors and a fast-paced environment, this role fits you.

This full-time position involves operating forklifts, following safety procedures, and coordinating with production and inventory teams to maintain an organized yard and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of forklift or loader experience (auto salvage experience a plus)
• Strong safety awareness and good judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly
• Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Pre-employment drug Screening is required
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Valid forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related heavy equipment to move vehicles, parts, and materials
• Follow vehicle placement procedures to optimize yard organization and customer access
• Maintain equipment and perform daily safety checks using company software
• Assist in standing vehicles on wheel stands in accordance with company safety protocols
• Work closely with production and inventory teams to maintain workflow and keep yard areas clean, clear, and safe
• Uphold the company values of safety, cleanliness, and excellent service
• Follow the wash schedule of the company equipment to maintain the cleanliness standard
