Job summary

Nevada Pic A Part in Las Vegas is seeking an Equipment Operator to support yard operations, moving vehicles and parts safely and efficiently throughout the site.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of forklift or loader experience (auto salvage a plus).
• Strong safety awareness and good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Pre-employment drug Screening is required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Valid forklift certification, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related heavy equipment to move vehicles, parts, and materials.
• Follow vehicle placement procedures to optimize yard organization and customer access.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily safety checks using company software.
• Assist in standing vehicles on wheel stands in accordance with company safety protocols.
• Work closely with production and inventory teams to maintain workflow.
• Support customers and team members by keeping yard areas clean, clear, and safe.
• Uphold the company values of safety, cleanliness, and excellent service.
• Follow the wash schedule of the company equipment to maintain the cleanliness standard.

Summary:

We are looking for a safety-minded and reliable Equipment Operator to support our operations team in moving vehicles and parts safely and efficiently throughout the yard. If you're someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, and takes pride in safe, consistent equipment operation, this is the role for you. Our operators play a key role in keeping our yard organized and our customers safe and satisfied.

Pay:

$16.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications

Hours:

Full-time – 40+ hours/week
