Job summary

Copart, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to move and load vehicles using a front-end loader or forklift, and to document vehicle movement around the facility.

The role includes pre/post-trip inspections, safety compliance, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will have at least one year of loader/forklift experience (certification preferred), strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of outdoor work experience.
• One year loader or forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Positive attitude/High integrity.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Occasional O.T. as needed.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move and load vehicles with a front-end loader or forklift.
• Maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and documentations.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company guidelines for loader operation.
• Set up yard for auctions within company timelines.
• Provide service to customers as needed.
• Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
• Use digital camera or other tracking devices for vehicle documentation.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a positive demeanor.
