Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD is hiring for a hands-on role in our Houston-area facilities. You will operate production equipment, assist in material handling, and participate in ongoing safety programs to maintain a clean, safe work site.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in recycling or manufacturing, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role supports a fast-paced team with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment with multitasking and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in recycling or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment per established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in safety programs and upholds the safety culture.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Assists in performing inventory on materials.
• Grading and inspecting inbound loads and making deductions for dirt, trash, or plastic.
• Sorts, transports, packs, removes, and disposes of materials as required by law.
