Commercial Metals in Louisiana is seeking a hands-on teammate to support materials handling in our fast-paced facility. You will sort, stack, and ship items; operate a forklift; and assist customers while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Forklift operation capability.
• Ability to communicate with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials on racks according to product code.
• Operate a forklift to move materials as required.
• Perform physical activities including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending and kneeling.
• Assemble customer orders from stock for shipping.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
