Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing seeks a skilled Material Handler for our Batavia, OH facility. You will move materials and trailers around the site, operating forklifts with care to ensure efficiency and safety.

Tasks include loading/unloading, inventory updates, and supporting production lines. Responsibilities include delivering to weld lines, fabrication, axles, paint, and shipping areas while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a material handler or in a similar role preferred.
• Valid forklift certification and proficiency operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Move trailers and materials using forklifts, side lifts, combi lifts, pallet jacks, and handheld devices.
• Unload incoming shipments and inspect for damage; prepare outgoing shipments securely.
• Fulfill orders for sales, returns (RMA), and production materials using handheld devices.
• Deliver materials to production floors to support schedules and minimize downtime.
• Perform quality checks on materials before delivery to production areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
