Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America in Hamilton, Ohio, is seeking a warehouse/material handler to maintain safe, efficient material flow. You will perform replenishments, transfers, and put-away tasks, while operating MHE and forklift equipment to move and stage materials.

Use SAP and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory transactions, report discrepancies, and follow 6S workplace standards. Flexibility for overtime, including weekends, is required.

• Knowledge of safe forklift operation and the ability to obtain a license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Execute reservation requests and move materials to banked inventory locations on time.
• Perform replenishments and put-away tasks to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Process transfer orders, bin-to-bin transfers, and repacking to optimize material flow.
• Conduct reservation picking and dynamic Kanban picks to meet production and warehouse demands.
• Assist with freight unloading and proper receiving, verification, and storage of materials.
• Operate MHE equipment (Tugger, Dock Stocker, Scissor Lift, Reach Truck, Turret Truck, Order Picker) safely.
• Use SAP and RF scanners to complete inventory transactions accurately.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or shortages to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 6S principles and Optimal State guidelines.
• Perform routine daily MHE inspections and complete monthly safety training on time.
