Qualifications

• One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience.
• Ability to safely operate forklift and follow safety guidelines.
• Ability to read and comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, and safety documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work independently under pressure.
• Safe work record and stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
• Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
• Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.
