Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for our distribution center in the United States. The role requires operating a forklift, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring accurate paperwork for distribution and shipping.

Qualifications

• One year or more of forklift/warehouse experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, and safety material.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in compliance with training and safety guidelines.
• Load, unload, and store building materials from trailers or rail cars, minimizing damage.
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk).
• Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping of products.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working area.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts as requested.
