Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, OH. The role offers a base pay of $23.00 per hour with a .50 raise at 6 months and 1 year, overtime at $34.50 per hour, and productivity incentives up to $10 extra per hour.

Weekly pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits start within 30 days. Flexible day shift options (Wed-Sat), 44-55 hours per week, 11-hour shifts, and a 1,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
