Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio. You will work in a clean, organized facility operating stand-up forklifts, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Shifts.offer 44-55 hours per week with 11-hour blocks; choices include Sun-Wed 4:30am-4:00pm or 5:30am-5:00pm. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid in installments, plus pay accelerators and occasional incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule; available for various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
