Job summary

TWB, Tailor Welded Blanks, a Worthington Industries joint venture, is hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler in Antioch, TN to help keep production moving safely and efficiently.

You will operate forklifts and cranes, load and unload equipment, supply lines, monitor equipment, and ensure quality as part of a dedicated manufacturing team. Starting pay is $21.00/hour with a $0.55/hour shift differential, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the plant.
• Load and unload production equipment.
• Supply materials to production lines.
• Monitor production equipment for proper operation.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package finished products for shipment.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Assist machine operators with setup and production as needed.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
