Worthington Industries Inc. in Antioch, TN is hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay is $21.00/hour with a $0.55/hour shift differential. Overtime paid at 1.5x, double time after 48 hours, and benefits begin Day 1.

The role supports production by moving materials, loading/unloading equipment, and ensuring quality and safety across the shift. Team players with strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend and perform physical work throughout shift.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic, safety focus, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials in the plant.
• Load and unload production equipment and supply materials to lines.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation and quality control.
• Inspect finished products and package for shipment.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Assist machine operators with setup and production as needed.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Forklift Operator / Material Handler, you'll help keep production moving safely and efficiently by:
