Watsontown Brick is seeking a motivated individual to fill a Forklift Operator position within one of our plants. The role requires basic forklift driving skills and the ability to adapt to various tasks. Responsibilities include:

1. Operating a forklift up to 14,000 lbs with basic driving skills.
2. Transporting and stacking materials.
3. Driving dump trucks to haul waste material to dumping areas.
4. Working independently without supervision.
5. Ensuring quality control of the product.
6. Completing daily production goals and working overtime when needed.
7. Assisting in moving products to meet production needs.
8. Performing inspections on the forklift to ensure safe and effective operation.
9. Reading, writing, and understanding English.
10. Identifying and locating products in the yard for shipping.
11. Documenting shipped materials for inventory control.
12. Performing physical activities such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting objects up to 60 lbs.
13. Reporting malfunctions and maintaining equipment.
14. Cleaning the forklift after use.
15. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
2. Experience in production or manufacturing forklift operation is a plus.
3. Knowledge of industrial technology is a plus.

Compensation: Up to $40,144/year
