UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory and production, and back again, while maintaining accurate paperwork and production records. The role supports production with materials, labels finished goods, and helps maintain clean, organized inventory yards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade basic education; high school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Moves material from inventory to production and back.
• Bands, wraps and/or packs finished goods, and labels material.
• Moves finished goods from production to finished goods inventory/yard or warehouse.
• Assists production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment checklist and reports any problems.
