MaineGuide is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory, production, and finished goods areas in Kentucky. You will ensure accurate paperwork and production records, and supply production with materials according to the schedule.

Responsibilities include moving materials, labeling, assisting with bottlenecks, and performing basic maintenance. Safety, efficiency, and accuracy are essential in this role.

Formación

• Minimum 9th grade basic education is required, High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Move material in process from one station to another.
• Band, wrap, and/or pack finished goods, and label material.
• Move finished goods from production area to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and other material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report problems.
• Keep inventory yard organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
