Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Nashville, TN. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight on a dock, using forklift and pallet jack, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers.

The role requires flexibility across day, evening, night shifts and weekends, with benefits including health insurance from day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Forklift experience in a warehouse/LTL environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
