Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock operations. This role involves sorting, loading and unloading freight using forklifts and pallet jacks, while complying with safety policies and tracking shipments with handheld devices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use forklift and pallet jack and other equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner and follow company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
