XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator to efficiently load and unload freight on a dock. The role requires operating pallet jacks and forklifts, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends to meet varying freight volumes.

The position starts at $26.05 per hour and offers comprehensive benefits for those scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week. This is an exempt role under the Motor Carrier Act.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
