Job summary

Great Northern Corporation in Chippewa Falls is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team on 1st and 2nd shifts. Starting hourly wage is $22.75 with a $1.50 shift differential on 2nd/3rd shifts. Roles include loading for customer pick-up, operating forklifts for loading/unloading, and ensuring quality checks on orders.

Responsibilities

• Load product for customer pickup and prepare shipping labels for carrier deliveries (Common Carrier, UPS, RPS, FedEx).
• Operate industrial forklift to unload/load raw materials and finished goods from trucks/trailers while verifying material type and quantity.
• Follow quality procedures and check at least one order per day for accuracy.
• Change LP tanks safely or recharge forklifts as needed.
• Shrink-wrap units as needed for shipping.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
