Job summary

NFI is hiring a Forklift Operator II in the United States to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment. The role requires spending fifty percent or more of work time operating forklifts, while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred or required.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies that the correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely manner.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns promptly.
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
