Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse setting. The role emphasizes safe operation of forklift equipment, accurate inventory handling, and timely order fulfillment.

You'll perform pre-operation inspections, stack and transport goods, and assist with cycle counts and inventory controls while maintaining productivity and safety standards. This position requires substantial forklift operation time as a core duty.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience and/or experience with warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Loads, unloads, stacks, and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments and transports product to storage locations.
• Performs order picking and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management.
• Maintains inventory records and reports to support accuracy and security.
• Highlights safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
