Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. You will operate forklift equipment for at least half of your shift, ensuring productivity and accuracy while following safety rules. You may assist with order picking and checks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keeps safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments and transports products to storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies quantities and product types before loading/shipping.
• Performs order picking accurately and promptly.
• Moves product to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains documentation for inventory accuracy and security.
• Assists with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Rotates inventory per company standards.
• Reports discrepancies to inventory control.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns promptly to management.
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
