Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. The role requires safe operation of multiple forklift types and may include order filling or checking, with 50%+ of time on equipment.

Responsibilities include unloading, staging, outbound preparation, quantity verification, inventory documentation, and RF scanning. A high school diploma or GED and forklift certification are preferred, with 2+ years of experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments and transports product to storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking accurately and timely.
• Moves product to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains documentation for inventory accuracy and security.
• Assists with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
