Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse. The role requires operating multiple forklift types, completing pre-operation inspections, and supporting order filling and checking as needed.

Safety and accuracy are essential as you spend half or more of your time operating forklifts. Responsibilities include unloading shipments, staging products for outbound shipments, and ensuring correct quantities are loaded.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience or experience with warehouse equipment.
• Must qualify and pass forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking accurately and timely.
• Maintains inventory records and supports cycle counts as directed.
