Job summary

NFI is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator II to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our Georgia warehouse. You will operate forklift equipment, support order filling and checking, and maintain productivity and safety standards—spending 50%+ of time on forklift duties.

Responsibilities include safe operation, staging, unloading, outbound preparation, and inventory control, with attention to accuracy and customer service. Proficiency in Excel and RF scanning is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation or warehouse equipment experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking accurately and timely.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and product security.
• Assists with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency to complete required tasks.
• Performs other duties as required by the role and management.
