NFI is hiring a Forklift Operator I to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts safely, perform pre-operation checks, and assist with order picking and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good customer service and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently following safety procedures.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift or related equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves products to storage.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment per requirements.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking accurately and timely.
• Moves product from staging to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains documentation to support inventory accuracy.
• Assists with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Rotates inventory according to company standards.
• Reports safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Demonstrates basic Excel skills for required tasks.
