Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move, count, and stage merchandise within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and related equipment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

The role includes order filling and checking as needed, maintaining inventory accuracy with RF devices, and supporting cycle counts. Eligible for a robust benefits program and competitive hourly pay based on shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months of forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using forklift or related equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment in accordance with customer and operational requirements.
