Berlin Packaging is seeking a Forklift Operator I to prep shipments, load, unload, and support warehouse operations in Houston. You will operate forklifts, organize orders, and transfer supplies while maintaining accuracy and safety. You may handle billing paperwork and ERP transactions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and successful completion of Berlin’s forklift certification. Strong detail orientation and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Prior warehouse and forklift operator experience strongly preferred.
• Required to take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program.
• Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to learn.
• Has a positive attitude and contributes to a positive team culture.
• Self-motivated; reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation.
• Basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Operate forklift, hand truck / warehouse carts, pallet jack, and/or other equipment.
• Organize and prepare customer orders with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
• Transfer supplies from department to department to meet production or shipping demand.
• Properly store and label all materials and finished product.
• May prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders.
• May be required to record transactions via computer in ERP system.
• Perform cycle counting as required.
• Notify leadership of non-compliant ware.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized to cGMP standards.
• Comply with all ISO standards.
• Support company and branch metrics.
• Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values.
• Other tasks as required.
