Job summary

Berlin Packaging is seeking a Forklift Operator I to join our Minnesota warehouse in Brooklyn Park. You will prep shipments, load/unload products, and support daily warehouse operations with forklift and pallet jack equipment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and prior warehouse or forklift experience; training and certification will be provided to operate forklift safely per company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Prior warehouse and forklift operator experience strongly preferred.
• Must take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program.
• Ability to complete tasks with high attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Self-motivated; reliable with initiative and results.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 20lbs frequently and up to 45lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other equipment safely.
• Organize and prepare customer orders with accuracy.
• Transfer supplies between departments to meet production or shipping demand.
• Store and label materials and finished products properly.
• Record transactions in ERP systems as required.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse per cGMP and ISO standards.
• Support company and branch metrics.
