Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise in the Fort Worth warehouse. You will operate forklifts safely, perform pre-operation checks, and assist with order picking and shipment preparation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months forklift operation experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performs pre-operation inspections for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves products to storage.
• Assists with order picking and prepares items for shipment.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports cycle counts.
• Uses RF scanners to support inventory management.
• Reports safety concerns promptly.
• Demonstrates basic computer proficiency and performs other duties.
