Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate material handling equipment and move merchandise within the warehouse. The role involves loading, unloading, stacking, and organizing inventory, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections, completing documentation, and supporting cycle counts. Experience with RF scanning and basic Excel is a plus, with company-provided forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift or related equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments and moves products to storage locations.
• Picks orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Moves products to trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports cycle counts.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
