Job summary

NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate material handling equipment, locate and move merchandise, and support order fulfillment within the warehouse. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity while performing duties such as loading, unloading, and inventory checks.

Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, RF scanning for inventory accuracy, and assisting with cycle counts.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED.
6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
Must pass NFI forklift certification.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Complete and document required pre-operation inspection forms.
Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using forklift or related equipment.
Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations.
Pull and prepare products for shipment per customer and operational requirements.
Verify correct quantity and product type loaded and shipped.
Perform order picking accurately and timely.
Move products from staging areas into trailers for outbound loads.
Maintain documentation to support inventory accuracy and product security.
Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
