Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator I to transfer goods and materials within our warehouse using a manual/ electrified forklift. This role supports inbound and outbound shipments and requires attention to detail and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, 0–3 years of experience, and forklift certification upon hire. Strong accuracy, organization, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Certification required upon hire.
• 0–3 years of related experience preferred; 0–1 years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a gasoline or electric forklift to move materials within the warehouse.
• Use standard lifting devices and material handling equipment.
• Push, pull, lift, stack, and move products and equipment.
• Record weights on production schedules and perform loads/unloads.
• Perform safety checks on lifts and maintain equipment.
• Follow instructions independently or in a team.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Inspect machinery and perform routine maintenance.
