Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Torrance, CA is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to transfer goods and move materials throughout the warehouse. You will operate forklifts, use standard lifting devices and perform safety checks to ensure accurate handling of loads.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or Work equivalent required.
• 0-3 years experience, 0-1 years required.
• Forklift certification upon hire required.
• Reading and writing English, knowledge of airport codes and basic geography.

Responsibilities

• Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric powered forklift to pick up, deliver or move materials around the warehouse location.
• Operate standard lifting devices and other basic material handling equipment.
• Operate machinery to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
• Load, unload and stack materials onto lifting device, weigh material or products and record on production schedules.
• Perform safety checks on lifts.
• Follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Comply with all company policies and legal guidelines.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance.
