Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Aurora, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula to move goods safely and efficiently within our multi‑temperature warehouse. You will operate forklift, pallet jack, and related equipment, stocking and replenishing pick slots while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, 6+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift 10–90 pounds, and capacity for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–90 pounds, depending on location, repeatedly.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and places pallets using forklift or hand stack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates dated stock and removes outdated inventory as required.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspects pallets and ensures safe handling of materials.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Completes paperwork and performs safety checks and battery swaps as needed.
