Job summary

Maersk Warehouse and Distribution USA LLC in Memphis, TN is hiring a Forklift Operator to move products throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment. Shift 11:00am–7:30pm, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts possible.

Must be forklift certified and able to lift 50+ lbs, operate pallet jacks and RF scanners, and read and follow work instructions. Overtime may be required; the team emphasizes safety, accuracy and punctuality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year warehouse experience
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safe and secure work environment including TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned.
