Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator for a Monday through Friday 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM shift. The role includes loading and unloading cargo, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring a safe workplace with strict adherence to TSA and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities include using manifests to pull routes, staging freight, and assisting drivers, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation and material handling experience.
• RF scan gun experience required.
• Certified forklift operator preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work overtime.
• Able to read and comprehend work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load/unload materials and assist drivers.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with TSA/OSHA guidelines.
• Identify and annotate OS&D discrepancies in loads.
• Perform duties like picking, packing, scanning, and kitting as applicable.
