Job summary

Maersk in Memphis is hiring for a forklift operator responsible for moving products throughout the warehouse using various material handling equipment. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure accurate, timely processing in a dynamic environment.

The role requires forklift certification, 1 year of warehouse experience, and the ability to work overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

Must be Forklift Certified.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 year warehouse experience preferred.
Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap.
Experience using an RF scan gun is required.
Forklift certifications preferred.
Overtime and occasional weekends may be required.
Good reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Operate/drive material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers with loading/unloading.
Ensure timeliness, packaging, and system accuracy.
Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
Read and follow detailed instructions precisely.
Maintain safe work environment per TSA and OSHA guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
