Job summary

Porter Logistics in Savannah is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to power our fast-moving operation. You will unload palletized products from containers and trailers, transport and put away items, and accurately pick orders using sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, and reach forklifts while observing safety protocols.

This is not a clock-in clock-out role; you’ll be a hands-on problem solver who thrives under pressure, embraces ownership, and grows with a small, energetic team as Porter

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift experience, preferably in a 3PL/logistics setting.
• Proven forklift operator experience and safety-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload palletized products from containers and trailers using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Transport and store products in designated locations with accuracy.
• Retrieve and pick orders from warehouse locations based on pick lists.
• Safely load palletized products onto trailers/containers for outbound shipments.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklifts to ensure safe operation.
• Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and report product damage, equipment issues, or process concerns promptly.
