Porter Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to launch and own operations for a new direct-to-consumer client in the Savannah market. You will lead a hands-on team on-site from day one, setting the standard and driving performance in a fast-growing 3PL environment.

The role requires 5+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience, current forklift certification, and a strong ownership mindset. Weekend flexibility and startup-style adaptability are a plus as we scale operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to hold a team accountable while staying hands-on yourself.
• Current forklift certification or ability to certify (sit-down, stand-up, reach required).
• High sense of ownership; you do not wait to be managed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communicator with the ability to elevate issues appropriately.
• Experience in a 3PL or fulfillment environment preferred.
• Comfort operating in a start-up style environment where not everything is built yet.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day warehouse operations for an assigned client from receiving through outbound fulfillment.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a small team of warehouse associates.
• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts as needed alongside your team.
• Enforce accuracy, quality, and safety standards across all workflows.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective action when performance dips.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for client-facing issues.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager on staffing, throughput, and client needs.
• Keep the space organized, compliant, and running at a high level at all times.
• Adapt quickly when the client’s needs shift, including occasional weekend support.

This role supports our continued growth into the Savannah market as we launch operations for a new direct-to-consumer client.

The Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who can launch and own operations for a new direct-to-consumer client. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build and lead operations for a new client in a new space. You will be the on-site leader from day one, responsible for setting the standard, driving performance, and making the right calls without waiting to be told. This role reports to an Operations Manager and is right for someone who has earned their stripes on the floor and is ready to step into real ownership.

What You Will Do
