Goodwill Legacy Group in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a full-time Forklift Driver to support production and distribution across retail outlets and warehouse environments. You will operate forklifts and related equipment to move, count, and stage merchandise, unload deliveries, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, safe operation, daily equipment inspections, aiding cycle counts, and keeping areas clean and compliant with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Operator certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes – receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, shipping.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound shipments and transport products to appropriate outlet or warehouse storage areas; efficiently stack and store merchandise.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, properly documented, and free of damage; report quality variances.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment or distribution, ensuring correct quantities and product types are selected.
• Perform order picking and staging to meet operational and customer service standards.
• Move products between staging, storage, retail outlet floors, and trailers using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Load and unload materials using proper techniques to ensure safe weight distribution and prevent damage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, double stackers, and other equipment safely and efficiently following established procedures.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance; document safety checks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories; ensure proper stock rotation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and secure; follow OSHA/SDS safety standards.
