Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana is seeking a Forklift Driver for the Outlet to support outbound and inbound material flow. You will operate gas or electric forklifts, handle pallet jacks, and assist in shipping and receiving while maintaining safe practices and accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, stocking storage areas, and performing routine maintenance checks on equipment.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Operator certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes: receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Teamwork: contributes to outputs with others.
• Clear communication in instructions, memos, and briefings.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for rates, quantities, and measures.
• Adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining safety.
• Safety awareness and adherence to OSHA/SDS standards.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and double stackers.
• Background screening and 10-point drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials efficiently.
• Assist in receiving, inventory checks, and cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Communicate with retail leadership and support staff to coordinate tasks.
• Keep accurate records for inventory control and reporting.
