Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator. You will sort, load and unload freight on a dock, using forklift and pallet jack, while adhering to safety policies. This role requires flexibility across shifts and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Pay starts at $22.27 per hour with benefits for those scheduled 30+ hours per week; position is Motor Carrier Act Exempt and on a non-climate-controlled dock.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).
• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation preferred.
• Forklift experience in freight or LTL environments preferred.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Adhere to safety policies while working on the dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
