Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently move palletized and non-palletized freight, use forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers.

The role requires safety-conscious handling of loads on a non-climate-controlled dock and the ability to scan shipments with handheld devices. Pay starts at $23.43/hour with benefits for those scheduled to work 30+ hours per week; this is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Basic math skills, with or without calculator.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts as required.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
