Estes Express Lines in the United States seeks a dock worker to load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand, strap and pad freight to prevent damage.

You will record freight conditions, perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections, and maintain reliable attendance. Must lift 70 lbs, work all shifts including overtime, and pass pre-employment tests.

Safety, teamwork and adherence to company policies are essential in this role at a fast-paced service center.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Experience in transportation is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift ~70 lbs and work all shifts, including overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Properly load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight as it arrives at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Work additional duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.
